Imagine.  You.  Off-campus.  Way off. Come to an island in the Atlantic Ocean that's home to hundreds of other musicians, painters, writers and celebrities.  Spend an entire semester in one of the coolest, most creative places on earth, with people who love music as much as you.  Be one of 30 students chosen each semester from more than 100 campuses to participate in an exclusive four-month long residency at the nation's only artist community for musicians.  Then imagine staying back at school doing the same old same old.  No contest.  The CMC is a great place to be.

Things To Do
Tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming, boating, wind surfing and ice skating are all available right on the property. And there's plenty of room to run, hike and bike throughout the Island's many wildlife sanctuaries and nature preserves. Boating, fishing, scuba diving, golfing and horseback riding are all available nearby, or if you're in a scholarly mood, visit one of the six excellent town libraries.

Care for Body and Soul
Martha's Vineyard boasts a first-rate hospital located just a few minutes from our site, and more than sixty health care professionals are here to meet your physical needs. On the Island there are seventeen churches representing more than a dozen denominations, providing a wide range of worship opportunities.

Transportation
Martha's Vineyard can be reached by plane, car, bus or ferry. There are connecting flights year-round to Martha's Vineyard Airport from Boston, Hyannis, Nantucket, New Bedford and Providence. By car, you're just 85 miles from Boston or about 250 from New York City. Bus service is available year-round between the Vineyard and Boston, Providence and New York City. Ferries run to and from Martha's Vineyard from several ports, including Woods Hole, Falmouth and Hyannis, Massachusetts.
